Derek lives in Jackman with his wife.  He has over 10 years of computer and networking experience and more than 11 years of customer service experience, working in the Central Maine area.  He has a proven record of dedication to API customers needs by providing practical, personalized solutions. 

In his position, Derek provides computer support to small and medium sized businesses. His responsibilities include network needs assessments, infrastructure design, implementation and maintenance, consulting services and ongoing systems integration and support. 

Derek has achieved Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) and Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) certifications.  He has also earned several other industry certifications such as A+, Network+, and Server+.  Just earned last year was certification with Sonicwall firewalls. Derek also has extensive database application experience with Access, SQL and .NET platforms.
